About us - HR done properly, by people who actually do it

Your HR Partners is an outsourced HR consultancy supporting ambitious UK businesses with the kind of practical, commercial people-advice that usually only comes with an in-house team.

We work as a true extension of your business, getting to know your people, your culture and your goals, so the advice you get is rooted in your reality, not generic policy.

Whether you're hiring your first employee, restructuring a department, or simply want a calm voice on the end of the phone when something tricky lands, we're here.

Our Story

Built on relationships, not retainers

Your HR Partners was founded with a simple belief: that small and mid-sized businesses deserve the same calibre of HR expertise as large corporates, without the corporate price tag, jargon or rigidity.

We saw too many business owners stretched thin, juggling people problems alongside everything else, often turning to one-size-fits-all consultancies or expensive law firms only when something had already gone wrong. We wanted to do it differently: to be the trusted partner who picks up the phone, learns your business inside-out, and helps you make the right call before issues escalate.

Over the years we've worked alongside medical practices, hospitality groups, family-run retailers, professional services firms and growing start-ups. The common thread is people who care deeply about their teams and want HR done properly, not as a tick-box exercise.

How we work

Four things that shape every engagement

We've refined our approach over years of in-house and consultancy experience. These principles are how we keep it consistent, whether we're drafting a contract or chairing a tribunal.

Tailored, never generic

Every business is different. We build HR around the way you actually work, your sector, your size, your culture, instead of forcing you into a templated package.

Pragmatic, not preachy

We give you commercial advice that protects the business and respects your people. No legal-speak, no scaremongering, just clear options and a recommendation.

In your corner

When something difficult lands, we're on the call with you, drafting alongside you, sitting beside you in the meeting. You're never on your own with it.

Fixed fees, no surprises

Unlimited support for one transparent monthly fee. No clock-watching, no per-call charges, so you actually pick up the phone when you need us.
